Anklets
An anklet can be made with a clasp if an accurate measurement can be obtained. This ensures a longer life for the piece than if it is done on elastic. All parts are soldered for extra strength.
This anklet was made by twisting 3 wires together while threading on glass sugar beads. It would withstand bathing, swimming and showering.
These glass sugar beads were threaded onto a single wire while it was being woven through a sterling silver chain. Pewter charms were then hung at even intervals from the anklet. While all the parts were soldered, I did not recommend that this anklet was kept on during towel-drying etc to maintain the integrity of the charms. However, it was able to withstand swimming.
This was made with an identical matching bracelet. The clear glass sugar beads ensured a chic, more formal look to this anklet.
